Pretty Reply (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that applies visual themes to AI chat interfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude) and allows users to export conversations as styled HTML files. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Pretty Reply is designed with privacy first. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Your chat conversations or AI responses
• Personal identifiable information (name, email, address)
• Browsing history
• Keystrokes or form inputs
• Account credentials or authentication tokens
• Any data from the websites you visit

3. How the Extension Works

Pretty Reply runs entirely inside your browser. All theme styling is applied locally using injected CSS. When you export a conversation to HTML, the file is generated locally and downloaded directly to your device. No data leaves your browser at any point.

The extension uses the following Chrome permissions for these specific purposes:

• activeTab / scripting — to inject CSS themes into the current AI chat tab
• downloads — to save your exported HTML file to your device
• storage — to remember your selected theme across sessions (stored locally in Chrome, never sent anywhere)
• clipboardRead — used only when you click the HTML export button to read the AI response text from the page, immediately, and only for generating your export file

4. Third-Party Services

Pretty Reply does not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising services. The extension does not communicate with any external server.

The exported HTML files may include a reference to the html2pdf.js CDN for optional in-browser PDF conversion. This is loaded only when you open an exported file and click the PDF button inside it. We have no control over CDN providers’ own privacy practices.

5. Website (prettyreply.com)

The Pretty Reply website may use standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for operational purposes. We do not sell or share this data. We may use basic analytics in the future and will update this policy accordingly.

6. Children’s Privacy

Pretty Reply is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
